Innovative measuring of solar constant?

Filed under: Letters from Ionia — Tags: — zankaon @ 9:15 pm

Our sun appears as a disk. Hence difficulty in measuring any variation in solar output? Perhaps have an orbiter at Jupiter (or at Lagrange point for sun and jupiter – 2-body problem), wherein the sun would be markedly smaller, and hence more suitable for measuring any variation in solar output i.e. solar constant variation.
